1. Floating Dollar Bill
THE EFFECT:
A borrowed bill is folded into a small packet and placed on your open palm. Suddenly under your command it begins to move, but is doesn't just move it starts to rise from your hand! Amazingly it rises up, back down again and even floats from one hand to the other!
At all times you circle your hands around, under and over the note dispelling all thoughts of it is done. Finally you unfold the note and hand it back to the spectator in exactly the same condition it was received.

THE SECRET:
The secret to one of my favourite easy magic tricks is Magician's Thread or otherwise known as Invisible Thread. This is basically just really thin thread, so thin it is almost invisible. You can
pick this up relatively cheaply from any magic store.

2 . Do as I Do
Effect :
The spectator follows the magician's moves, and they both end up selecting the same card from behind their back.
Preparation :
Place two jokers on the bottom of the deck.

Cut
Method :
Start by false shuffling the deck, leaving the two jokers on the bottom, and ask the spectator to cut the deck into to piles. Use the magician's force to leave the spectator with the original top pile, and you with the pile containing the jokers.
Take your pile, and tell the spectator to do the same, behind your back. Now tell the spectator to take one card and bring it face-down to the front. You should select the bottom joker in doing this.
Now take each other's card behind your backs, and tell the spectator to turn it upside-down and put it in the centre. You should actually put their card anywhere, take the bottom joker, turn that upside-down, and put it back in the pack.
You can now reveal that the two cards selected are both the same!
